… to unlock a future where events and volunteering are a pathway to wellbeing for all people and their communities.
Our purpose is to unlock a future where events and volunteering are a pathway to wellbeing for all people and their communities. We believe that events and volunteering have a crucial role to play in improving wellbeing for everyone.
Our mission is to do all we can with the funds, resources and time we have left to fund, research and share what we’ve learned works to enable all people and communities to be active, creative and connected.
We continually monitor our impact and commission independent evaluations of our own work
Theory of Change
The projects we fund are underpinned by our theory of change, which shows how we believe that supporting people to be more active, creative and connected leads to positive social outcomes.
Each of our funded projects selects the outcomes in the theory of change they are aiming to achieve, and develops a monitoring and evaluation framework to identify how they will understand their impact.
Happier People, Happier Places sets out Spirit of 2012’s organisational strategy, providing a framework for all of our activity from 2020 onwards.
Annual reports and audited financial statements from 2014 to present, with details of all our activity, impact, future plans, and governance.
