Originally from the North West, Beth is a theatre maker, facilitator and qualified youth worker who moved to the Midlands to study at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire. As Ramps on the Moon’s Agent for Change at the Birmingham Repertory Theatre, she champions accessibility and inclusivity for D/deaf and disabled people as both employees, audience members and creatives.
Beth believes strongly in the power of culture as a tool for social change and that art and culture should be accessible to all, not just to a select few. Her knowledge and passion for culture as a mode of learning led to her co-founding The Juicy Bits collective, which provides a platform for projects that explore sex and relationships through art. As part of the collective, she curated Feel the Squeeze, a three-piece series using audio and illustration to explore the different ways in which the pandemic has affected our relationships.
